My New Kindle and Our New Lighting System

My new kindle- BovieMy old Kindle died and I received my new one.  The screen size is identical to the original Kindle and I can easily increase the type size if I need to, yet the overall size is a few inches smaller.  When compared to carrying some large books, it is as different as night and day.  I once again purchased a leather cover so it feels more like a book.  The cover is better too.  It offers more cushioning and is firmly locked in place.  The old leather cover had a funky way of holding on to the Kindle and periodically came off when I dropped it.  The new case also puts the Kindle to sleep when you close the cover.  The new Kindle Paperwhite gets an A+ review from me.

My new Kindle is smaller, with a touch screen AND a built-in light.  The first thing I used to do was to check the reading light when I got on board a plane.  Every once in awhile I either got no light, or the lighting was so poor that I may as well have had no light.  Having a backlit Kindle, combined with a long battery life, is really a great upgrade to me.

I think the built-in lights must be accomplished with LED lights.  They use very little energy and are cool to operate.  Just like our new System 2 LED, the perfect light for the surgery center with cooler operating temperature, using less electricity and a very long life.  After all, you don’t want to be squinting to see what you are doing in surgery.  You will enjoy the brightness, coolness, low operating costs and the long life endurance of our new System 2 LED lighting system just like I enjoy my new Kindle.
