In a world full of cynicism it's good to see that nice guys don't always finish last. Rob Saron is truly one of the nice guys in our industry. Rob has dedicated 35 years of his career to Bovie Medical. He's helped the company weather turbulent times and celebrates the good times. As an industry veteran Rob is known for his calm demeanor, one who listens well and only speaks when he truly believes he can bring value to the conversation.
Rob is known in the industry for his leadership and for mentoring those around him. In the industry Rob is also given of his time and expertise. Rob has always believed that he is blessed to be in the medical distribution industry and when one is blessed one should give back. Not only does he give back, he encourages others to do the same. Rob has served on the HMMC Board including serving as President of HMMC. He was recognized by the HMMC board with the Leonard Burke Award in 2011. He has also served on the HIDA Education Foundation Board and in 2008 he received the HIDA Award of Distinction.
On February 21st, 2013 Bovie Medical’s own Rob Saron will be inducted into the Medical Distribution’s Hall of Fame. This award is given to individuals in the Medical Distribution Industry that have had a lasting impact not only their company but those who have also played a key role in bringing the industry to where it is today. Rob is joining an elite group on people who have served as the foundation of the Medical Distribution community. Please join me in congratulating Rob on this most prestigious award.
